Accelerated Careers Awareness Program (ACAP)

The ACAP program is a one-week program for high school students interested in a career in business. Held at a local college or university, the program introduces students to accounting, finance, economics and management through a focused, undergraduate-level program taught by college faculty and guest lecturers from business and government. During the week, students have the opportunity to attend classes on careers in accounting and business, personal development and college preparation and tour college campuses, local companies, and CPA firms. The program concludes with the students inviting their parent(s) or guardian(s) to a banquet in commemoration of their completion of the program at the end of the week. LEARN MORE

Community Service
Holding true to NABA's motto of "Lifting As We Climb," community service is a vital component of NABA Richmond's success. Our chapter's objective is: (1) to provide outreach to the community through grassroots efforts and partnering with other community-based organizations; (2) to increase attendance and membership participation by both professionals and students at community service events; and (3) to work with NABA sponsors to assist in providing volunteer opportunities for members.

Career Opportunities
NABA Richmond posts job opportunities to our members by direct e-mail. Postings are contributed by our corporate partners or by our members who hear of available listings at their employers. NABA membership is a premier method to learn of organizations focused on minority individuals.
