2021 NABA Tampa Bay College Scholarship Application

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK ACCOUNTANTS, INC. (NABA) TAMPA BAY CHAPTER is proud to announce that the organization will award local scholarships for the current academic year. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 28, 2021. These scholarships will be presented at a Scholarship Recognition event. The actual monetary value of the scholarship will be paid to the recipient’s educational institution. This will be contingent upon the recipient having at least one year of school remaining.

Applicants must
 
1) Be an ethnic minority who is currently enrolled as a full-time (12 semester hours or equivalent), undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, or first-year senior accounting, finance, or business major; or
  
2) Be a minority graduate student enrolled as a full-time student (nine semester hours or equivalent) who was an undergraduate accounting major and is presently accepted in a masters-level accounting, business administration, finance, or taxation program, OR who had any undergraduate major and is presently accepted in a masters-level accounting program.

3) Be a FY20-21 NABA member. A member is one whose membership dues have been received by NABA's National Office by the scholarship deadline of Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Dues are $35 for undergraduate students or students entering graduate school "immediately" after receiving their undergraduate degree. All other graduate students are considered professional members and must submit dues of $200. Dues can be forwarded with the scholarship application.
 
4) Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in your major and overall.
