Greater Hartford Early Immersion Program


The Hartford’s Early Immersion Program is ideal for high achieving college sophomores interested in exploring internships and career opportunities in the insurance industry. This event will take place over three consecutive dates in June 2019.

Participation Benefits Include:

  • Professional development workshops, networking activities, and mini case competition experience
  • Valuable resume building opportunities
  • Numerous opportunities to meet and network with business professionals and early career professionals including other students and company interns
  • Select students who participate in the program will be invited to interview for summer internship opportunities before positions become available

Requirements:
  • Sophomore level class standing (2021 graduation date)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (out of 4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Record of high achievement, self-motivation, ability to multi-task and a strong work ethic
  • Availability to commit to three consecutive dates in June
  • Interest in any of the following career fields: Actuarial Science, Claims, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Management, Marketing, Operations, Risk Management, Underwriting or other insurance related careers
