Volunteering with NABA Metro DC

Please see below for a brief description of each committee and a summary of duties. Please send the area(s) in which you have interest in volunteering to info@nabametrodc.org.

Student Services Committee
Responsible for ensuring Student Chapter affiliations are in accordance with National Office guidelines; and appropriate activities have been identified and approved by Chapter Student Membership Services Director.

Community Committee
Responsible with providing free financial literacy programs to area students and the community through two financial literacy programs and a one week summer residency program for high school students. The Committee is looking for members to help accomplish our community relations initiatives such as VITA, Financial Literacy Workshops, Operation Hope and other community volunteer efforts.

Membership Committee
Committee is responsible for recruiting new members, maintaining membership records and reporting membership levels. Committee will communicate with all new members and ensure all members are up-to-date on local, regional and national initiatives.

Programming Committee
Responsible for working the chapter’s corporate partners to develop programs, development sessions and seminars on relevant topics such as career development, leadership, and technical skill building or industry trends for members of NABA.
