Volunteer Opportunity - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program!
As we embark upon a new year, a new tax season will be well underway very soon! Every year, our local NABA chapter works with an IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to aid local community organizations to offer free tax help to low and moderate-income individuals and families that need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day of Service Event
The Metro DC Chapter of NABA's Community Committee (formerly known as Financial Literacy Committee) participated on Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day of Service at an event hosted by the National Black MBA Association Inc. - Washington, DC Chapter in their partnership with City Year DC.
