Leadership & Empowerment Conference

In 2011, Detroit Chapter of NABA hosted its first Annual Leadership and Empowerment Conference (NL&EC). Mrs. Betty Maple, retired Partner from Deloitte and Lifetime Professional Member of our Chapter is the founder of the NL&EC.

NL&EC Purpose - Why is it Important?
NL&EC is filled with practical advice from highly successful and insightful speakers. This Conference was created to address the core competencies needed to effectively manage organizations and complex programs as well as the leadership skills professionals need to be successful within our quickly changing business environments.

Who Should Attend the NL&EC?

NL&EC is designed for professionals who:
  • Want to strengthen their management skills and advance their career
  • Are preparing for, or pursuing a leadership career track
  • Are interested in boosting their leadership potential and career trajectory
