NABA Jacksonville Programs

High School

ACAP is a separate program developed by and operating under the NABA banner. The High School program was developed to foster relationships with the surrounding high schools with business-related programs to develop student interests in college business majors. The program prepares students to pursue higher education and informs students about career opportunities available in accounting, finance, and business areas. For more  information on the NABA Jacksonville ACAP Program, please email membership@nabajax.org.

College-Based Program
To prepare college students for a professional career through engagement, mentoring, personal development, exposure to the work place through internships, scholarships through our scholarship program and public speaking/presentation skills  through case competitions. These initiatives also aim at identifying and nurturing exceptional leaders in higher  institutions. The chapter participates in the Southern Region Student Conference held annually. This yearly event demonstrates NABA's motto "Lifting as we climb" by enabling students across the region with invaluable learning and networking opportunities through a career fair, a scholarship banquet, classes and mock interviews. The event is attended by more than 300 college students.  To learn more about college-based programs, CLICK HERE

Mentorship Program
The Mentorship Program was started in 2018 to meet the needs of our collegiate students. The program seeks to pair professional members with students to foster professional guidance. The mentor and mentee design a personalized program path to meet the needs of the student. During the year the student has an opportunity to participate in internships, obtain resume critique and interview assistance. This year we invited 2 students to participate in the inaugural program, where they both completed the program and received full-time positions. For more information on the NABA Jacksonville Mentorship Program, please email membership@nabajax.org.
