About NABA

The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA, Inc.), is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for black professionals in the accounting, finance and related business professions. Representing more than 200,000 black professionals in these fields, NABA advances people, careers, and the mission by providing education, resources, and meaningful career connections to both professional and student members, fulfilling the principle of our motto: Lifting As We Climb.

About the NABA Milwaukee Chapter

The mission of the NABA Milwaukee is to address the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting/finance profession as well as assist professionals in other business related professions.  The chapter was founded in 1984. Founding members include: Morris Tharps, Mark Purnell, Curtis Craig, Carla Cross, Alvin Hayes, Rosa Jackson, Sherri Pearson, Elvira Taylor, Mary Turner, and Romana Windsor-Rodgers.

NABA, Inc. Milwaukee Chapter’s - Summer Soirée Scholarship Fundraiser
Join us on August 11th to experience a soirée to close out Summer 2023. This event will also be used as a fundraiser for NABA, Inc. Milwaukee Chapter's scholarship fund. For the past 10+ years, the Milwaukee Chapter has given more than $35,000 in scholarships to Milwaukee's and surrounding area’s underrepresented high school and college students. Monies raised at the event will be used to increase scholarship contributions to students with academic goals of studying accounting, finance, or other business disciplines at the collegiate level.
