These initiatives seek to increase the number of accounting and finance related college students measured through increase in college enrollment specifically in accounting, finance, business, technology and related disciplines. These initiatives were established primarily to provide awareness, encouragement and a mentoring relationship to Nashville area high school students. Emphasis is placed on getting the students involved to understand the importance of: staying in school, developing good study habits, graduating from high school and obtaining a higher education (college degree). These initiatives stand as one of the Chapter's most formidable challenges and rewarding endeavors.

KIPP Career Day

In the Spring, the Nashville chapter of NABA as well as other professionals in the area assist with the KIPP Nashville Collegiate High School in their annual Career Day. During the event, professionals share our experiences as professionals in the workforce with the students. Additionally, professionals perform mock interviews with the students and provide them with feedback as well as network with the students during lunch.

Spring Enrichment Series
The Nashville chapter of NABA partners with the Youth Encouragement Services after school program in the Spring to host our Spring Enrichment Series program. During the program, NABA members share brief presentations with students that include the career journeys of the members as well as encouraging financial literacy in the form of projects.
