Our Mission

About the NABA Southern New England & Westchester Chapter

The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. - Southern New England & Westchester Professional Chapter (SNEW) was chartered in June 1991 at its First Annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet.  The chapter was founded by a small core of dedicated individuals to address the professional development and networking needs of African American accounting and business professionals in the areas of New Haven and Fairfield Counties, Connecticut and Westchester County, New York, which was added in 2001.

The Southern New England & Westchester chapter was established to expand the reach of NABA initiatives. Comprised of professionals in the Southern New England area of Connecticut and Westchester area of New York, we work to continue in the NABA motto “Lifting As We Climb.” Together with students from the University of Bridgeport, Iona College, and West Connecticut State University, we form the Southern New England & Westchester chapter. We welcome you to our chapter and invite you to check us out to see how joining NABA can be beneficial to you. If you have any questions or need to contact us, we can be reached at info@nabasnew.org
