High School Programs
These initiatives seek to increase the number of accounting and finance related college students measured through increase in college enrollment specifically in accounting, finance, business, technology and related disciplines. These initiatives were established primarily to provide awareness, encouragement and a mentoring relationship to Chicago area high school students. Emphasis is placed on getting the students involved to understand the importance of: staying in school, developing good study habits, graduating from high school and obtaining a higher education (college degree). These initiatives stand as one of the chapter's most formidable challenges and rewarding endeavors. LEARN MORE

Collegiate Programs
To prepare college students for a professional career through engagement, mentoring, personal development, exposure to the work place through internships, scholarships through our scholarship program and public speaking/presentation skills through case competitions. These initiatives also aim at identifying and nurturing exceptional leaders in higher institutions. LEARN MORE

Career Development
NABA Chicago provides members with training, guidance and opportunities to develop their soft skills. The underlying programs seek to provide the necessary knowledge and information on how to improve career progression for members with the goal of C-suite attainment. From personal style definition, to mentoring and coaching through identification of sponsors and advocates to gender-specific needs in the workplace. LEARN MORE

  • Membership Happy Hours/Mixers

Community Service
We seek to make our skills and competencies available to our immediate and surrounding communities. Programs associated with these initiatives include our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA program) and other programs to better serve our community. LEARN MORE
